Battle cube

This is a translation of a post originally published in 2012.

Among alm things that I like about Adventure Time, for some reason, one of my favorites are battle cubes.

And you can see the businessmen in the back. That episode was great.

They are mostly that: floating cubes that shoot raya. However the idea can be refined.

For starters let's imagine that they were made by a wizard to serve his evil purposes. That way they can be adorned however the wizard liked. Some can just be a white hexahedron, others can rock ornaments of gold and silver, others can have skulls on their surface with a bigger one in the center of each face, they can be painted with horrible signs or carved with scenes of doom. Just the way you like 'em!

Or you can also customize the kind of magic projectile they use. You don't like plain magical energy? They can throw slime or green fire or, I don't know, poisonous snakes.

And can they have other shapes like spheres or pyramids? NEVER. THAT'S HERESY. Don't even think about it.
